The myLab Program's mission is to inspire passion in engineering.  This is done through workshops, internships, and outreach.  The theme of the program is to combine engineering and art with hands-on meaningful projects.
Founded in April 2009.
Ultimately, the idea is there to be an "open" lab environment for students, hence the name the "myLab" Program. We want undergraduates to feel that it's "their" lab to design, explore, play, etc.  However, to establish that students want or need more hands on experience we started with workshops.  The workshops were an instant success.  As a result, we moved forward to internships and outreach.  These experiences have evolved the program into what it is today, a place for undergraduates to get hands on experience through various means and, while doing so, provide outreach to the local community.
